This paper presents a comprehensive exploration into the design and development of a Fixed-Wing VTOL UAV, aiming to address the complex engineering challenges inherent in achieving complex trade-offs between stability and maneuverability. The development and analysis methods and tools proposed not only ensure an efficient and seamless design process, but also help in achieving highly accurate preliminary design studies and analysis. By combining insights from aerodynamics, propulsion, stability, and control, obtained from software like XFLR5, OpenVSP and Simulink, this study endeavours to contribute to the advancement of VTOL UAV technology and pave the way for its widespread adoption in practical scenarios. It successfully addresses the challenges faced to balance stability and maneuverability. The fully electric propulsion system also contributes to reducing the carbon footprint in the environment.
