Family violence affects adolescents, making it not only a social problem but also a public health issue, with repercussions in the psychological, social, and especially educational spheres. Given this reality, this study aims to analyze the psychosocial impact of family violence on adolescents through a systematic review. Methodologically, the study adopts a qualitative approach with documentary research; the sample was selected following the parameters established by the systematic review and the PRISMA protocols. The results confirm that family violence negatively impacts adolescents and is closely associated with emotional problems and poor academic performance. It is concluded that mental health is affected by family violence, causing emotional and behavioral disorders in adolescents; therefore, all social, educational, athletic, and familial spheres, among others, are negatively disrupted.
