Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of innovative entrepreneurship in creating job opportunities through an applied analysis of IKEA as a model of a multinational company that adopts innovation across its operations. The study is based on the main assumption that the adoption of different dimensions of innovation enhances firms’ ability to expand and achieve sustainable employment growth.

The research employs a descriptive-analytical approach, utilizing both secondary data and a questionnaire as primary data collection tools. Statistical analysis was conducted using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) to examine the relationship between the study variables, where innovative entrepreneurship represents the independent variable and job creation represents the dependent variable.

The findings reveal a statistically significant positive relationship between the dimensions of innovative entrepreneurship (product innovation, process innovation, sustainable innovation, and digital transformation) and job creation. The results also indicate that process innovation and digital transformation contribute to improving operational efficiency and reducing costs, thereby supporting employment expansion. Furthermore, sustainable innovation plays a key role in generating green jobs, while product innovation enhances direct employment opportunities by increasing demand and strengthening competitive advantage.

The study concludes that the integration of innovative entrepreneurship dimensions is a critical factor in achieving sustainable job growth within multinational corporations. It also recommends promoting the adoption of institutional innovation strategies, particularly in digital and sustainable domains, due to their significant role in supporting economic development and reducing unemployment.
