The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education is opening up new opportunities to enhance students' wellbeing and engagement in learning. The study is aimed at exploring the impact of AI tools supporting education and ICT environment on students' emotional state, motivation to learn, active involvement in the classroom, and educational motivation. The use of AI-powered personalized learning systems, intelligent tutoring applications, digital feedback mechanisms, and interactive learning platforms can help address individual learning needs, foster active engagement, and offer prompt academic support. Likewise, ICT provides flexibility in accessing of educational materials, learning together and exchanging information among students and teachers. While the benefits of digital technology can enhance student learning, overuse of digital devices, digital fatigue, privacy concerns, dependence on technology, and inequity in access to technology may negatively impact student well-being and learning. The research underscores the need to embrace the integration of AI and ICT using student-centred, inclusive, and ethical educational practices. It stresses the importance of technology being a tool that supports and does not supplant relationships between teachers and students and appropriate emotional support. The study suggests that, with the support of digital competence, responsible use of ICTs and institutional guidance, the use of AI and ICT can play a role in making learning more engaging, supportive and accessible. These insights can inform technology-infused strategies in the classroom and at school that foster student well-being and learning.
