All SvedbergOpen journals are published Open Access. This implies that after they are published, all articles can be read and reused right away. As long as the original authors are properly attributed, articles published in SvedbergOpen publications are freely accessible for download, sharing, and reuse.

Manuscript submission indicates that it has not been published before and is not being considered for publication elsewhere. All necessary formal permissions, including those to quote text that has appeared in another publication, must be obtained and submitted by the author. Upon acceptance of publication of the manuscript, authors must sign and return in the completed "Copyright transfer Form”. The author and SvedbergOpen journals have a publishing agreement that governs this. Articles are licensed to SvedbergOpen, but the author(s) retains copyright for their work. SvedbergOpen uses the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0.(CC-BY) for all of its publications. • The author(s) retains all copyright on any open access work published in a SvedbergOpen journal.
• Authors grant SvedbergOpen a license to publish the article and identify itself as the original publisher.
• The authors also grant any third party who want to utilize the article unrestricted access, provided that the original authors, publisher, and citation details are acknowledged and the article's integrity is preserved.
• Hold onto trademark and patent rights.
• Reuse their own content in original works without obtaining permission, provided that the original article is fully credited:
  1. Make an article to the length of the book
  2. Add an article in a subsequent compilation of their own work
  3. Utilize their own figures or tables, as well as parts and excerpts, in other publications
• Share and use their writings for academic reasons, giving due credit to the original author.
